We started this journey some two years ago now and to be honest, we had a somewhat sketchy road map but agreed to keep it loose and let it evolve along the way. The vision though has not changed in that we wanted to offer lifestyle gifts and products that were in our eyes, "a little bit different". As we did evolve, we started to introduce other lines such as clothing, jewellery, cards and much, much more. Where at all possible, seeking out craftspeople and artisans producing ethically sourced and environmentally friendly items. This is still evolving today but, we are getting there.
Having spent nearly 40 years in the corporate world and none of it in retailing, this really was stepping out of our comfort zone and the proverbial, leap into the dark. Anyway, so far so good despite the recent challenges of the lockdown.

At this point, time to introduce the third member of the team, our fluffy assistant “Princess” who shows an appearance every now and then and will make you most welcome. She is a Coton de Tulear! Coton is French for cotton and Tulear is the port in Madagascar where the breed originated from in the 17th century.
Anyway, enough about us. As we introduce new lines especially when they come from artisans, there is always a story to tell and most social media does not really accommodate telling this story. So we will publish a post about new lines and new things we get up to.
Oh and every so often, something about the “fluffy assistant”!!
